Top-up balance

All businesses can add funds to their Xendit Balance via Top Up which will be used to cover disbursements and other money-out transactions. Top up can be done anytime via bank transfer.


Important: Top‑ups cannot be used to receive payments from customers.


Steps (all countries)

  1. Sign in to the Xendit Dashboard and open Balance

  2. Click Top Up and choose your country‑specific method.

  3. Follow the on‑screen instructions, then send the transfer.

Processing speed depends on the transfer network, currency, and country (see faq below).


🇮🇩 Indonesia

Instant Top‑Up via Dedicated Virtual Account (IDR)

  • Every account receives a Top‑Up Virtual Account (VA) at signup.

  • Transfer IDR to this VA from any bank — Balance credits within minutes for Interbank transfers.

  • Locate your VA: Balance → Top Up → Select Bank  

Check Status

Dashboard → Balance History → filter Top Up.

If not visible, open the Pending tab. Same bank transfers usually post within 5 minutes once the bank confirms the funds.

Can I get a VA at another bank?

Yes. Email us to request a VA for BNI, BRI, BSS, or Permata.


🇵🇭 Philippines

Xendit offers two automated ways to fund your Balance:

1. UBP Bills Payment —recommended

Fully automated; posts in ≤ 5 minutes, 24 × 7 (including weekends & holidays).

The UBP Bills payment method means you no longer need to send a proof of deposit to help@xendit.ph in order to request a top-up. You simply need to log in to your UBP App or Portal account and follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Pay Bills (UBP Online) or Bills Payment (UBP The Portal) section

  2. Click Select Biller and go to the Biller List section

  3. Select biller name "XENDIT BALANCE TOP-UP"

  4. Enter your payment code which you can find on your Xendit dashboard on the balance tab by clicking on Top-up.

  5. Enter the amount you want to top-up

  6. Review the details and click Pay to continue

UBP App/Portal → Pay Bills → biller “XENDIT BALANCE TOP‑UP”

Use the fixed payment code displayed in Dashboard → Balance → Top Up → UBP Bills Payment.

2. Bank Transfer with Upload

Dashboard → Balance → Top Up → Bank Transfer.

Upload transfer details and proof of deposit; requests are processed weekdays 09:00‑18:00 GMT+8.

Dashboard → Balance → Top Up → Bank Transfer.

Upload the transfer slip; requests are processed weekdays 09:00‑18:00 GMT+8.

Email confirmation is sent once funds post.

Your top-up request will only be processed within office hours (9am to 6pm GMT +8). All top-up requests beyond office hours will be processed the next day no later than 12pm, provided we have already received the funds. If the funds have not yet arrived, the processing of your top-up request will be affected by the involved banks' or clearing houses' settlement period.

Dashboard → Balance History → filter Top Up. If not visible, open the Pending tab. You’ll also get an email once funds are credited.


🇹🇭 Thailand

Dashboard → Balance → Top Up → Bank Transfer.

Upload the transfer slip; requests are processed weekdays 09:00‑18:00 GMT+8.

All top-up requests beyond office hours will be processed the next day no later than 12pm, provided we have already received the funds. 🇻🇳 Vietnam

Dashboard → Balance → Top Up → Bank Transfer.

* ≤ 500 M VND: instant credit

* > 500 M VND: processed 08:30‑16:00 Mon‑Fri, credit within 30 min once funds arrive


🌐 Foreign‑Currency Top‑Up (USD ➜ local Balance)


Use this flow when you need to fund your Xendit Balance from a foreign-currency bank account.

Xendit handles the conversion, so you always know and approve the FX rate before the funds are credited.

2 · Notify Customer Success

Email help@xendit.co (or your usual CS channel) with:

  • proof of transfer (PDF / screenshot)

  • the exact amount sent in USD

  • your registered business name

3 · Approve the FX quote

CS will send you the real-time FX rate by email or WhatsApp.

Respond within 24 h to confirm acceptance.

4 · Balance credit

After you approve, Xendit converts the funds and tops up the local-currency amount to your Xendit Balance.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once the credit is complete.
