This feature is currently only available for businesses in Indonesia.
For payment channels that are not instantly settled to your balance by default, Early Settlement allows you to make it instant when a successful payment is made. This feature helps improve your cash flow management and provides immediate access to your funds.
How Early Settlement works
When a payment is successful, there are typically two key timing points:
When the payment is confirmed successful (T+0)
When the funds are settled to your Xendit balance (T+X, where X varies by payment channel)
With Early Settlement:
Funds are available in your Xendit balance immediately after successful payment (T+0)
You can withdraw these funds instantly to your bank account

Standard vs Early Settlement flow
Stage | Standard Settlement | With Early Settlement |
---|---|---|
Payment success | Payment confirmed | Payment confirmed + Funds instantly available |
Settlement period | Wait 2-5 days (varies by payment channel) | No waiting period |
Fund availability | After settlement period | Immediate |
Withdrawal | Only after settlement | Instant availability |
Supported payment channels
Early Settlement is available for the following payment channels in Indonesia:
Payment Channel | Currency | Standard settlement | Early Settlement | Fee |
---|---|---|---|---|
All e-wallets | IDR | T+2 | T+0 | 0.25% |
BCA Virtual Account | IDR | T+1 | T+0 | 0.125% |
QRIS | IDR | T+2 | T+0 | 0.25% |
Alfamart, Indomaret | IDR | T+5 | T+0 | 0.625% |
Note
Early Settlement fees will be added to standard payment processing fees.
In Indonesia, BCA Virtual Account is the only Virtual Account that can do Early Settlement as transactions made via other Virtual Accounts are already settled instantly by default.
Early Settlement limits
Each merchant is assigned a total Early Settlement limit per payment channel. This limit represents the maximum amount of unsettled funds that can be advanced through Early Settlement at any time.
Key concepts:
Total Limit: Your maximum approved Early Settlement amount.
Current Usage: Amount of funds currently advanced through Early Settlement.
Available Limit: Total Limit minus Current Usage.
Example with a IDR 5,000,000 limit:
If you receive a IDR 2,000,000 payment:
Current Usage: IDR 2,000,000
Available Limit: IDR 3,000,000
When this payment settles (after T+2 or T+5):
Current Usage decreases by IDR 2,000,000
Available Limit increases by IDR 2,000,000
Limit rules
Transactions are only early settled if they don't exceed your Available Limit.
Partial Early Settlement is not available—transactions must fit within your Available Limit entirely.
Pricing and fees
Early Settlement fees are:
Charged per transaction
Automatically deducted from the settlement amount
Calculated as a percentage of the transaction amount
Charged in addition to standard payment processing fees
Calculation example:
Transaction amount: IDR 1,000,000
Early Settlement fee: 0.25%
Fee calculation: IDR 1,000,000 × 0.25% = IDR 2,500
Amount credited to balance: IDR 997,500
