Once you've created an account, you'll be directed to your dashboard. Before you start creating transactions, it's important to understand that your dashboard has two modes:
Test Mode: Experiment and familiarize yourself with our features or test your integration thoroughly using virtual funds. In test mode, your transactions does not transact with real money, so you can safely test different features and functionalities of before launching into live production.
Live Mode: Accept and process real payments from your customers. This mode becomes available after your account has been activated.
You’ll see a label on the bottom left corner of your dashboard under your business logo that clearly indicates whether you're currently in Test Mode or Live Mode.
How to switch dashboard modes
Click your business name in the bottom left corner of the dashboard
Toggle the Switch to Test / Live Mode option on or off as needed
When you switch to Test Mode, it will only apply for your own dashboard and not your team members’
In Live Mode, you can choose to switch back to Test Mode as well—this will not erase your activity on Live Mode
Your business and profile details
To view your business and profile details, click Edit Profile. The information that you submitted when you create your account and verify your details will be shown under Your Business. If you’d like to update any of these details, please contact help@xendit.co
Under Your Profile, you will be able to see the following details:
Email: Email you used to sign in, not the business email of the account.
PIN: A 6-digit PIN used to authorize Payouts and refund card charges.
2FA Authentication: Additional security to authenticate your login.
Dashboard Timezone Preference: This setting will affect the time displayed on your dashboard and the time your transaction report will be sent (this will only your account, and not your team members’).
Upgrading a non-incorporated business account to an incorporated business account
You can upgrade your account from an individual account to a business account by contacting help@xendit.co. Please ensure you've prepared the required information and documents.
